Machine quilting classes will teach you how to use your home sewing machine to machine quilt designs on your quilt top.
Beginning classes will teach you how to use a rotary cutter, mat, and rulers.
Teachers will help you set up and familiarize yourself with setting your machine for ¼" seam allowance.
Most all classes will stress the importance of correct pressing and the use of a steam (vs) dry iron.
Even if you have been quilting for years, a class sometimes will hoan and or refresh your skills. Sometimes old tools will come with new techniques.
